Louisville SCWBI Chit Chatters Schmooze — Open Mic Night

At this month’s schmooze we will have an Open Mic. Writer’s can read from their manuscript for three minutes. Listeners will have three minutes to write a critique for the author. More details on how the Open Mic works will be provided at the schmooze, but please bring something to write with and paper.

On Saturday, June 11th, I attended the Midsouth SCBWI Editor’s Day in Lexington, Kentucky. Speakers included Senior Editor Maggie Lehrman of Abrams Books for Young Readers and Amulet Books, and Editor/Publisher Kate Larken of Motes Books.
