My novels and manuscripts are not only defined by their plots and characters but by their locations. I live near the Ohio River and lived right on the river when I was small.
A good example of my love affair with the Ohio River is Dream Flyer is a sci fi/thriller: Men kidnap Dean and ply him with neurotrophic drugs. He dreams about World War 2, where grandpa was a Fort Knox guard involved in a gold heist. Dean believes the men are treasure hunters. Cindy, his girlfriend, helps him escape. They learn that the men are after Tesla’s journals, which vanished during World War 2. Tesla was an electrical genius who was interested in contacting extra-terrestrials. Dean tries to discover Tesla’s secrets and regain his old life. He must decide what is real, or many people will die. It ultimately deals with the whys of life and the nature of reality.
