Today (December 26) is Wren Day AKA Hunt the Wren Day. Mummers/strawboys/wrenboys dress up in costumes as they parade around with a fake wren on a pole. Popular in Celtic areas of Europe, especially Ireland and the Isle of Man. [my triple-great grandma, Nancy Moore of Ireland would’ve celebrated]
