My heart aches for Wounded Knee
On December 29, 1890, the 7th Cavalry captured a band of Lakota Sioux, mostly women and children. They opened fire on the mostly unarmed band, also firing 4 small cannons. At least 300 Lakota died, over 200 women and children. Allowing the wounded to freeze to death, the 7th Cavalry got their revenge for Custer’s Defeat. (may they rot in Hell)
