C. T. Suddeth

Mississippi John Hurt (1893-1966) was a sharecropper who cut his first records in 1928. They did not sell. In the 1960’s, folksingers revived his career. I discovered him from Newport Folk Festival records. He had a syncopated, finger-pickin guitar like none other.
