Chubby Checker (1941 to present) is a singer/dancer best known for popularizing the Twist “Let’s Twist Again” and the Limbo “Limbo Rock.” His stage name is an homage to Fats Domino. The Twist and the Limbo made the fractious 60s fun for me.
