Long ago summer nights
When I was young, my father drove from Detroit to Louisville at night to avoid traffic, using Indiana 3. I sat in the front and found radio stations to keep him awake. Summer of 62, Ramblin’ Rose by Nat King Cole had just been released—the stations played it all night long. Nat King Cole (1919-1965) had many hits and even a TV series, but he will always be the singer of Ramblin’ Rose.
