C. T. Suddeth

My parents (Charles G. Suddeth & Mary Katherine Pait) went on their first date about 1946. They ate at Schimpff’s Candy & Deli, which has been at this location since the 1890s. They watched a movie at the LeRose Theater a block away in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The LeRose photo is from that era, though the LeRose closed long ago, the building is still in use, the LeRose façade preserved.
