Centennial of Rosewood Massacre:
Rosewood Florida was on the Gulf coast and was a mostly black town. The Rosewood Massacre was a series of killings and riots directed at blacks from January 1 to January 7, 1923. Fatality estimates vary from 8 to 150, 75 to 100 likely. The town was never rebuilt, many of the survivors changed their names and/or refused to admit they’d lived in Rosewood. A prayer please.
