The vote was on July 2, 1776, which everyone assumed would be a national holiday.

On July 4, 1776, the declaration was shortened, approved, and signed.

July 19, 1776, “unanimous” was added to the declaration.

 

One of the signers, Thomas McKean, stated that many of the signers were not present, and the declaration was not signed until August 2, 1776. (this claim is disputed, but most agree that about 22 of the 56 signers did so on August 2)

Matthew Thornton asked for permission and signed it on November 2.

No matter the date, it is a marvelous document.
