The guest speaker at Killer Nashville for Friday was D. P. Lyle. He is a writer, MD, and forensic specialist. He spoke about the cases involving OJ Simpson and Scott Peterson. Both men did stupid things and had bad luck.

I am attending Killer Nashville this weekend. Over 500 writers (at least 150 published writers), agents, editors, and law enforcement people are attending. The conference is for writers of mysteries, thrillers, suspense, crime, and horror, among others.

From Thursday August 22 through Sunday August 25, I will attend Killer Nashville in downtown Nashville. Over 500 writers, agents, editors, and law enforcement people will attend. The conference is for writers of mysteries, thrillers, suspense, crime, and horror.  They will also have programs for romance and young adult writers.

September 21st and 22nd, the Midsouth SCBWI will hold its annual conference in Franklin, Tennessee, near Nashville.  At least 150 children’s writers and illustrators will be joined by agents, editors and guest speakers. I plan to attend.

The SCBWI Midsouth had their annual convention in Nashville from Friday, September 14 through Sunday, September 16. Over 160 writers met with agents and editors. I met some great people and learned a lot.

I attended the 2012 Killer Nashville writing conference from August 23 to August 26. Editors, agents, law enforcement personnel, a hundred or so writers attended it. I had a great time, learned a lot, and met some talented people.
