Horse Queen

Epona (On a horse) was a Gaulish goddess of fertility and horses—and also led souls to the afterlife. Popular in the British Isles as Rhiannon (Great Queen), she is often depicted as a horse. Roman cavalry worshiped her and spread her name throughout the empire.  [June 13, feast of Epona]
