Traveling down the Ohio River in the 19th century—shantyboats/flatboats. Just a log raft with a shanty, but they were common back then. No dining rooms or night travel. Good ole days?

Clear the gangplanks!

About 1900: Stern-wheeler steamboats are lined long the Indiana shore, across the Ohio River from Carrollton, Kentucky. They are possibly waiting to enter the Kentucky. (The mouth of the Kentucky River is on the right, beside Carrollton) Roustabouts. Showboats. Calliopes. Ahhhh.
